🙂 There’s nothing better to celebrate the end of the semester than to offer my students Coca-cola gummies 🙂

Deixe as folhas amolecer durante sensivelmente 2/3 minutos.

• Coca-cola gummies (decaffeinated, so that everyone can have them, including the younger ones) •

200g coca-cola (decaf)
10 neutral jelly sheets or 20g neutral powdered jelly
1 pack of orange jelly
½ teaspoon citric acid
1 dessert spoon caramel

Directions for Thermomix:

In case you’re using jelly sheets: cut the sheets into a microwave-friendly bowl and cover them in water. Let the sheets soften for about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain the water and take the bowl with the sheets to the microwave for 20sec (if you are using powdered jelly, pour it straight into the cup).
Put all ingredients in the cup and set 10sec/sp. 4. Next, set 5min/100°C/sp. 2.

Pour into silicon moulds greased with oil (or water) or on a tray with parchment paper. Take to the fridge so they get stiffer. Unmold (if you’re using moulds) or cut into cubes (if you went with the tray option).

Nota:
Note:
I had been testing recipes for coke gummies for some time now. I tried many different ways, but there was always a flavour missing. I finally got the flavour I was looking for when I added lemon and orange zest, but, alas, the recipe took longer. Meanwhile, Susana posted a recipe for coke gummies and her suggestion of using orange jelly solved my problem. This is why I had to mention her marvellous post (on top of everything, a post in celebration of her blog’s anniversary). You can check out her recipe over here.
